Rebecca Wetzel

I am a trained luthier with a degree in String Instrument Technology and in General Studies from Indiana University in Bloomington , IN.  I have apprenticed under Severin Schurger in Miami, FL for 5 Years.  I then worked at the Bass Viol Shop in Cincinnati, OH for 5 years, specializing in string bass repair.  Since 1993  I have owned my own shop in Evansville, IN.  I have trained to do major restoration thru minor repairs and set-ups on all string instruments and their bows.  I have had additional training with Hans Nebel, Lynn hannings, Geroge Rubino, Rodney Mohr, Jerry Pasewicz, & David Orlin by attending summer workshops.  My training has given me extensisive training to work on the most complicated innstrument thru minor repairs &  set-ups as well as cello bow making.  I am a member of the Violn Soceity of America
